Jean-Francois Desrosiers Posted December 22, 2013 at 01:12 AM Posted December 22, 2013 at 01:12 AM All pilots: Effective Dec. 24, 2013 Montreal FIR will be implementing some important changes to it's sectors and callsigns. CZUL_CTR callsign will be replaced by MTL_CTR. MTL_APP callsign will be remplaced by CYUL_APP/DEP (coverahe of CYHU CYJN CYMX and smaller airports within the TCU will not be affected by the callsign change) A new position will come to life: Capitals Terminal using the callsign CPTL_APP. Just like in real world, when it's not busy, CYQB and CYOW terminals will both be manned by one person using one frequency. If you are unsure, don't worry, a contact me message will be sent to you if you require to contact ATC. Thanks, and Happy Holidays! Nicolas Moreau 1196832 Posted January 21, 2014 at 10:04 PM Posted January 21, 2014 at 10:04 PM Sounds good all change has been made and we can see MTL_CTR instead of CZUL_CTR, also about the Terminal for the Montreal airport. However, What we need to do to get CPTL_APP Online. I mean, we can see that the frequency is online as well but with no facility name and also, we don't see the Terminal on vatspy etc. Is it because Vatsim can't support one frequency for both Terminals? Would be very nice to see it when the controller is up for those facilities.
