Colin Schoen Posted December 24, 2013 at 11:34 PM Posted December 24, 2013 at 11:34 PM Welcome to VATSIM. You can't request a controller to be online for your flight, but you can most definitely fly where there is online ATC There are many tools available to view current network ATC with some of the most popular being Vattastic.com and VatSpy. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. Colin Schoen VATSIM Senior Network Supervisor
Aharon Dayan Posted December 25, 2013 at 03:11 AM Posted December 25, 2013 at 03:11 AM how can I request that someone help me out at CYEG so I can get familiar with the VATSIM Network Corey, If you join Buffalo Airways virtual airline, they have training center headed by VATCAN controllers based in CYZF and CYEG that have training sessions for new pilots who want to wet their feet onto Vatsim. They hold weekly training sessions conducted by CYZF and CYEG controllers who are also members of Buffalo Airways virtual to teach Buffalo Airways virtual pilots everything about Vatsim flying. That is if you decide to join Buffalo Airways virtual. Regards, Aharon

Marc Wheeler Posted January 5, 2014 at 05:11 PM Posted January 5, 2014 at 05:11 PM You may want to consider a tool such as vRoute, VATTASTIC, VATSpy or Servinfo as it will show you if ATC is on line and where that way you can plan your flight accordingly. A simple google or bing search should help you find these tools. Regards, VATSIM: P1|C3
