In particular I was using their ssmaker to add a new STAR and I thought I had everything in the right spot, i.e. airports.txt, waypoints.txt, kord.txt, etc, and the STAR shows up in the tool, but not in the MCDU when I select the airport. It seemed fairly simple, but then it got complex, like I was missing something key and I just can't figure it out. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks. Does anyone have access to ANY version of the vasFMC source code? I'm just perplexed that this was supposed to be an opensource project and I cannot find the source....anywhere. I can understand the project closing down, but to take your ball and go home too...kinda isn't in the spirit of open source....yes, I know I'm over simplifying. There may be more at the German community of VATSIM. The NavData-format of vasFMC is similar or identical to the one of Flight1's ATR NavData. The sourceforge was just garbage (from what I could find). @Andreas - I'm all about FREE, lol, and I wanted to see if I could "enhance" vasFMC by developing a navaid loader from what comes from the FAA site (at least here in the US), so I need the data format and loading sequence of the various .txt files.
