Rich Heimlich Posted February 21, 2014 at 06:12 AM Posted February 21, 2014 at 06:12 AM Not sure if this is specific to XSB or not but I don't recall it in FSX/SB: The other traffic had all the expected visuals but also a yellow bar at the front of each aircraft. Sort of two dashes (one short and one longer). What is that? And while I'm at it, is there a way to reduce the overly large lights on the other traffic? Thanks. So glad to be back after about 3 years of being off VATSIM!
Rich Heimlich Posted February 28, 2014 at 06:38 AM Author Posted February 28, 2014 at 06:38 AM So I now see this is four yellow squares. Is that just an marker?

What you're probably seeing is the Callsign/Aircraft Type tag. If you have HDR on, XSB currently can't render that tag correctly so it looks illegible. Try turning HDR off as an experiment and see if you can read it. I just turn off aircraft tags in the XSB menu to keep from seeing these. Lights are the same issue (HDR). Turning them off will fix it, but if you want HDR on (of course you do!) try this file to fix the lights somewhat: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=17074
Rich Heimlich Posted March 1, 2014 at 01:17 AM Author Posted March 1, 2014 at 01:17 AM That does make sense. I have HDR on. It's also one of the things I was missing from my VATSIM days with Flight Simulator. Thanks for the Lights fix! Awesome. I'll turn off callsigns for now too. VERY much appreciated.
