Seems like it should be fun - do you think you will see "CTP" traffic?

Actually, I had meant "Cross the Pond" traffic amounts.. does it look like that at present, or still too early to tell who is getting involved?

I'm not the VATCAN Events director, nor the Vancouver FIR Chief - but I am with VATCAN, so I'll talk with those who can get the news out.

I'll get in touch via email, and hopefully we'll see some flights out of Vancouver!

Cross the Pacific 2006 is CANCELLED until further notice. For the 2d time in a about a year, the ZHN Chief/webmaster resigned -the website will have to rebuilt or built from scratch.

The Chief doesn't simply turn over control of the website to the next Chief?

"Just fly it on down to within a inch of the runway and let it drop in from there."

There is still a viable staff and team of controllers at Honolulu ! Please, have fun out there still. Just CTP2006 is postphoned.

Securing web hosting services is personal investment people make, when life situation causes a change in direction, changes in webhosting can happen.

Y'all need to rely on someone honest over there to host the site for you, regardless of who is ATM. Try to make sure they email a zip file of the site to another staff member at least once a week, or at least ensure more than one person has access to the ftp site to ensure site survivability. Perhaps go at it as a team rather than just one person having all the keys.

That sound good. I agree webhosting should really p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] on to the next ATM and should be a team effort. First time it happened, i had already downloaded the site. Did not expect the latest.

I luckly had all the SOPs fromthe site so we can still follow those. I have a new site up but we still need to do lots of re-building
