Luke Budil 1254730 Posted March 4, 2014 at 02:18 AM Posted March 4, 2014 at 02:18 AM So before everyone goes crazy, I have windows 8 on my computer because that's what it came from on best buy. Anyway, basically fsx has done this for awhile by crashing randomly. Usually when climbing out it says "FSX has stopped working". I hate that and I want to fix it. Here is the error report: Description A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. Faulting Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Problem signature Problem Event Name: AppHangB1 Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61472.0 Application Timestamp: 475e17d3 Hang Signature: ef7a Hang Type: 0 OS Version: 6.2.9200.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Hang Signature 1: ef7aca7957469fadcc7e6a9419054628 Additional Hang Signature 2: 4818 Additional Hang Signature 3: 4818d0362934c53592e90c1b8a48a884 Additional Hang Signature 4: ef7a Additional Hang Signature 5: ef7aca7957469fadcc7e6a9419054628 Additional Hang Signature 6: 4818 Additional Hang Signature 7: 4818d0362934c53592e90c1b8a48a884
Miguel Frias Posted March 6, 2014 at 03:23 PM Posted March 6, 2014 at 03:23 PM This is too generic. What client are you running? Does it happen always in the same airport or if you try somewhere completely different does it happen as well? Try using the least external programs as possible to avoid something else being the problem. If you're using Squawkbox NEVER run it from within FSX. Always open it externally from the C:\Program Files\... folder. Try with default aircraft and then with different aircraft to see if that might be the issue. David Higdon 1139388 Posted July 20, 2014 at 01:55 PM Posted July 20, 2014 at 01:55 PM You need to install FSX outside of the programs file in windows 8. Just like you do for pmdg products
