Xsquawkbox and X-plane 10 crash

Greetings.... As the title states I am having a problem with Xsquawkbox. However overall I am very pleased with the X-plane program. So here's the problem, after installing squawk box I was able to connect to Vatsim and do a radio check with ATC. That was all the time I had so I disconnected. This is a new copy of X-PLANE with no plug-ins. The next time I ran X-Plane I added the eclipse 550. The installing of this airplane seems to have added the plug-in (Sasl). After completing several flights off-line I attempted to connect to Vatsim and X plane crashed. After this crash X plane would no longer boot up at all, a window will pop up saying that X plane can not run with these rendering options etc. once I remove the X squawk box folder from plug-ins X plane will run normally.

Any suggestions about this problem would be greatly appreciated. And of course I would be glad to provide a log file and computer specifications if it is necessary.

Thanks for any help, scott

Hi,

the same here. In my case, X-Plane 10 systematically crashes upon startup. But this happens only with the 64-bit edition of X-Plane. The 32-bit edition runs flawlessly, even using SASL-enabled planes (tested with King Air B200 and Beech Bonanza A36 by Carenado). By the way, I'm using X-Plane 10.30 Beta 2.

So, for the moment, I'm sticking with 32-bit, hoping for a resolutive update of XSquawkBox in the future.

I "sidelined" X plane and went back to FSX.
