Syam Haque 1161585 Posted April 6, 2014 at 03:02 AM Posted April 6, 2014 at 03:02 AM Recently, we've found out that the sector boundary for Bahrain and Saudi Arabia airspace have changed. The change has been noted in an ICAO docomeent and has been in effect since January 2014. ICAO Docomeent: http://www.icao.int/MID/Docomeents/2013/atm-aim-sar%20sg13/WP21.pdf Old boundary: New boundary: All sector files that include either of these sectors must be changed to reflect this. Until this is done, we advise current Saudi ATC to handoff aircraft to the next CTR once it is outside of Saudi country boundary. Bahrain ATC should handoff aircraft to Saudi ATC before the aircraft enters the Saudi country boundary. UAE ATC should handoff aircraft going West to Saudi ATC (instead of Bahrain).
