The convention is quickly approaching and while many of you have expressed and interest in attending, our reservations don’t yet represent that interest. Enjoy some great presentations and maybe learn a thing or two that you didn’t know about VATSIM and VATUSA. Hear what is coming in VATUSA and have a chance to get your ideas heard by the people who make things happen. It goes to show that just meeting the people that you fly with day in and day out is worth the trip! I love it... Ernie Alston and Richard Steckel After the town hall mtg, you can see Jeff Clark, Ernie and Mike Evans. I can't recall the others. Dave Pascoe from ZBW with the camera and Mariano from ZDC listening to Sat am cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts]es... I think Dave went thru about 30 rolls of film... lol Jeff Clark and his honor Mike Hayden talking about last nights tab.... You can see Chad Balentine from ZDC in the backround. Marc Glorioso and Mark Zameda at the Sat AM Cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts]es... Looks like Mark Z (red shirt) has a bit of a hard start that morning.. Less then a month away folks!!! Git er done!!! Mark Brummett Posted March 5, 2006 at 05:56 AM Posted March 5, 2006 at 05:56 AM As great as that convention was, the one thing I remember most about it is the damn fire alarm going off at 4am on Sunday, everybody evacuating to the front of the hotel, and having to wait for 90 minutes for the Fairfax County FD to clear the building. That and my Saturday night Vodka Tonic marathon.....which made me having to get up at 4am to evacuate a little cranky. But it was fun. I expect Chicago to be as much fun or more.
