Ross Carlson Posted May 3, 2014 at 11:07 PM Posted May 3, 2014 at 11:07 PM Then it doesn't sound like a problem with vPilot, since they can hear you some of the time. I guess all I can suggest is trying a different audio driver (wave versus directsound) or a different audio device. Marc Wheeler Posted May 5, 2014 at 05:01 PM Posted May 5, 2014 at 05:01 PM Sometimes, just disconnecting from VATSIM and reconnecting but selecting a different server may resolve the issue also. While controlling yesterday, I had a pilot with the same issue. For him switching from wav to direct sound resolved the issue. Ross Carlson Posted May 5, 2014 at 10:03 PM Posted May 5, 2014 at 10:03 PM I just found out the reason of the problem ptt dosent work when the vpilot window not active That is normally caused by running FSX as an admin without also running vPilot as an admin. You can also avoid this issue by using a joystick/yoke button as PTT instead of a keyboard key.
