Eric Robinson 1288916 Posted May 4, 2014 at 08:21 AM Posted May 4, 2014 at 08:21 AM Hello to all! So, I have decided to recently join up with Vatsim, and it seems great and all so far, but in conjuncture to my admittance to the network, my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke seems to have died somehow. I know this unit to have previously worked quite well, and I was very happy with it, but now it shows as though it is not powered. Plugging the system into the PC provides a very brief illumination of the "Power" LED on the throttle quardrant, but besides this brief flash, nothing else happens. The LCD does not come on, nor does the computer begin detecting a device. I opened up the device, and made sure everything is working. Everything looks fine on the inside, no cut wires or anything, no broken plastic. So, my question is, does anyone have a single CLUE about what could possibly be going on? I have checked USB power settings and all, but I haven't a clue. Anyone else had the same issue and possibly have a fix? My computer specs are as follows: Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Intel i3 Processor @ 2.4 GHz, 4GB ram and generic Intel graphics. Thank you for any offers to help. Fahad Usmani Posted May 22, 2014 at 01:42 PM Posted May 22, 2014 at 01:42 PM Since you have bought the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, you are rightly entitled to their product support. These days, their forum signups are closed, but you can contact them directly. Your best bet is to tell them the problem right away, just in case the VATSIM forums don't work out for you. I'll [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume that the product warranty is no longer valid? Miguel Frias Posted May 22, 2014 at 02:34 PM Posted May 22, 2014 at 02:34 PM Try a different USB port. Check in Windows for the USB entry in the devices. Remove it to see if Windows redetects it. Try connecting the Yoke on another computer to see if it lights up properly.
