1179447 Posted June 14, 2014 at 06:49 PM Posted June 14, 2014 at 06:49 PM Despite working for the last month+ all my traffic on VATSIM has stopped working. I haven't deleted anything neither changed any options neither have uninstalled vPilot. Any advice??

Ross Carlson Posted June 15, 2014 at 05:29 PM Posted June 15, 2014 at 05:29 PM That means you have loaded model matching rules that point to models that you don't actually have installed in your sim. 1179447 Posted June 15, 2014 at 08:24 PM Posted June 15, 2014 at 08:24 PM They are installed though... I'm saying I've never had a single problem and all of a sudden all these errors are coming up even for airlines / packages working before!
Ross Carlson Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:38 PM Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:38 PM They're not installed right if vPilot is showing those errors. vPilot tells FSX to create an aircraft using a certain model, and if the model is not installed, FSX returns an error, and vPilot shows the error. Ross Carlson Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:44 PM Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:44 PM Ernesto, I'd suggest providing a link, or at least the name of the tool you're referring to. Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:58 PM Posted June 15, 2014 at 10:58 PM its pretty easy to work with http://www.lekseecon.nl/VMRGenerator.html any errors it finds and cant match up with its database itll create a log for you to go over. for fictional airline codes, or codes not in the database, all you have to do is edit the appropriate text file in the data folder to add them. then run the generator again after youve made the changes. Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted February 21, 2016 at 10:57 PM Board of Governors Posted February 21, 2016 at 10:57 PM Welcome to VATSIM! The short answer is that vPilot does not provide a ruleset or support for the IVAO MTL. See viewtopic.php?f=132&t=68627#p487241 for more information. Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted February 21, 2016 at 11:26 PM Board of Governors Posted February 21, 2016 at 11:26 PM You can certainly use vPilot. You'll just need to use other AI for model matching. Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
Ismail El Moussati Posted February 22, 2016 at 02:35 AM Posted February 22, 2016 at 02:35 AM But i would use ivao MTL to have all the liveries Ismail El Moussati Northern Africa Division Founder l VATSIM Network Supervisor Royal Air Maroc Virtual CEO Virtual AirTraffic Simulation Network
Ross Carlson Posted February 22, 2016 at 02:54 AM Posted February 22, 2016 at 02:54 AM Ismail, the IVAO MTL is for use only on IVAO. That's why there is no vPilot model matching rule set for it. Most users use the free World of AI models, or a payware package like My Traffic or Ultimate Traffic.
