Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted May 24, 2014 at 12:39 PM Board of Governors Posted May 24, 2014 at 12:39 PM If you use FSX or P3D, I recommend vPilot over SB. vPilot is new and supported, and easy to set up. SB is easy to set up, but has been out of development for 4 years and is only community supported at this time (though we do a great job with it!). Also, because it's out of development, the hard-coded equipment suffix codes are outdated and incorrect on SB. vPilot is easier to set up for model matching, also. Andreas Fuchs Posted May 24, 2014 at 02:54 PM Posted May 24, 2014 at 02:54 PM Hi Kin, welcome to the crowd! In case that you are not satisfied with Squawkbox's model matching and would like to have something more complex, try FsInn. Just follow the tutorial called "FsInn in 20 minutes" that will guide you through all the details of the installation and initial setup: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=63821 Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC

Sam White 1214219 Posted July 8, 2014 at 03:16 PM Posted July 8, 2014 at 03:16 PM He probably [Mod - Happy Thoughts]umed your were IFR, as VFR can only depart Heathrow under particular conditions, and your route is an IFR route, coupled with the fact you would probably be in Cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] A airspace at 6000ft, where VFR is not allowed. IFR traffic usually makes contact with tower on final approach of the runway in use. VATSIM UK S2 Rated (Essex RTS)
