As most of you may have heard during the W14 conference we presented the new SSO system which is being introduced.

 

Developed by Kieran Hardern from VATSIM UK it uses OAuth and permits the autentication against CERT of users for partner webpages.

 

We have a couple of sites which do now work with this system and we are slowly opening up for new sites to be added while we see if eveything works as expected.

 

If you are a divisional/regional or vACC/vARTCC website, a major VATSIM partner VA, have some PHP knowledge and want to test it please sign up in this thread.

 

AT THIS TIME THE WHOLE PROGRAM IS BY INVITATION ONLY.

 

We hope to get the whole system "automated" and easy to access by the beginning of July, real life univeristy commitments of the lead developer can be a problem in getting things done fast

 

More "public" details will follow.

I am interested in helping to test the new SSO system. I am the Webmaster and Server Manager for the CZYZ FIR in Canada. I also have some PHP knowledge which would be of use.
