VATSEA is in a process of resuming normal operations and will like to recruit for the following positions. We invite all interested applicants to send a resume including their background, experience and interests for these positions. The applications are open from now till 30 June.

 

[Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant Training Director (VATSEA5)

Responsibilities:

1. [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist Training Director (VATSEA3) with operation and implementation of VATSEA training regulations.

2. Replaces Training Director (VATSEA3) in his absence.

 

Events Director (VATSEA8)

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates division-wide events in our VACCs and works with other divisions in regional events.

2. Keeps a log of events in VATSEA division and oversees the implementation of events

3. Engages and guides VACC to ensure successful events

4. Maintain relationships with virtual airlines (acts as liaison).

5. Develop and distribute market materials (graphics, forum posts, news update) to promote events.

 

Webmaster (VATSEA9)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and updates the VATSEA website

2. Manages VATSEA email accounts at the direction of the Director.

3. Technical advisor to the Director.

I will like to add that a minimum 2 year commitment period is required to ensure smooth transition in VATSEA.

We are privileged to appoint Lester Lee as VATSEA [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant Training Director, VATSEA5.

 

Lester comes with a wealth of experience having served as VACC Director (ACCSGP1) and Training Director (ACCSGP2) of Singapore VACC. He was also the Division Conflict Resolution Manager before his break from VATSIM to pursue his career in aviation.

 

Lester is an Instructor and President & CEO of Singapore Virtual Airlines. We believe the synergy of roles will be helpful in time to come. Lester may be contacting some of you in the VACCs to help out with training. Please let him know what he can do to help.
