pau gimeno 1177021 Posted June 25, 2014 at 10:22 PM Posted June 25, 2014 at 10:22 PM Hello, I have recently started with the new simulator. Firstly, I must congratulate the software team for their great job. That said, I have found several issues which could be due to my ignorance. The first one is about the Scenario Editor. I can open it a first time and run it correctly, although, if I close it and try to open it again it just stops responding and blocks the whole ES. (Maybe it's already a reported bug) The second problem is regarding Tower view and, as this feature is quite complex, it involves a lot of factors in which I could be doing something incorrectly. When I try to open one of my simulated sessions (even the ones created/edited with the Scenario Editor) the FSX Connector reports the connexion of each aircraft through the FSD server, however, it fails to connect most of the traffics to FSX, as shown in the picture below: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4BqQxbfB-PRdkM4Zm51aUJSRnM/edit How can I solve this? One last thing, what is the aim of the "Ground clamp" option in the EuroScope FSX Connector dialog? (I haven't found the answer on the Wiki) Thank you for any help, Pau
Eric Bocaneanu 906549 Posted June 27, 2014 at 10:58 AM Posted June 27, 2014 at 10:58 AM Hallo Pau, Indeed the scenario editor has a bug which makes it crash on 2nd use. It has been reported and a fix shall be released shortly. Regarding the tower failed aircraft connection, you can see on the 2nd line in the connector it has not detected any aircraft (Aircraft Definition 0). As the guide specifies, it has been tested only with Ultimate Traffic 2 and MyTraffic 5.4. It seems you have not loaded the proper aircraft folder in the Aircraft Definition folder but I can't see the whole path. http://euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=Tower_simulator As for Ground Clamp the manual says it is only used for Prepar3D and not for FSX: http://euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=Simulator_Architecture Eric Bocaneanu ROvACC Director
