Even after a couple of weeks getting back up to speed offline, and flying the route several times to be sure of everything, it's fair to say that I still felt as terrified as the newest newbie! I was almost relieved to have no ATC leaving my departure point As it happened, I was happily tooling along over Norway all by myself when the "*bing-bong* contact me on..." arrived. After a slight bit of confusion (I'd forgotten to disable VHF simulation within SB4 and couldn't hear properly!) it didn't go all that badly considering how rusty I am! I just want to say a huge thanks to the chaps on ESOS_CTR and Stockholm Control this afternoon - I'm sure I probably made a few errors along the way (and missed at least one call ), but that was a great re-introduction to Vatsim for me! So, er... Thank you!
