Matyas Svoboda 1072553 Posted July 25, 2014 at 09:28 AM Posted July 25, 2014 at 09:28 AM Hello , I'd like to know which module does VATSIM use to distort the voice and if it's possible to get this module for audacity/sony vegas or how to get at least similiar distortion in these programs. Thanks in advance.
Ross Carlson Posted July 25, 2014 at 02:12 PM Posted July 25, 2014 at 02:12 PM It's not a module, just some code that's part of VVL (VATSIM Voice Library.) As far as I know, it's a simple bandp[Mod - Happy Thoughts] filter that cuts out the low frequencies and I think some of the high frequencies. I can probably figure out the cutoff frequencies if you're interested.
