I'm slowly trying to set it up on a Debian VPS, then going to try to hook it up with my mac using X. Erik
David Zhong Posted July 30, 2014 at 03:44 AM Posted July 30, 2014 at 03:44 AM Two things to bear in mind: Latency between inputs and response will frustrate the experience if ping is more than a few milliseconds. Keep in mind you need to also transport audio from/to VRC. Not sure if X deals with this as most of my *nix experience is shell-only. Given that both platforms are Unix-like, surely it would be easier just to run VRC on the client machine? You'd be using WINE or similar anyway. Even better, you could run a VM or if you have an Intel Mac, just install Windows. David Zhong
