Bradley Grafelman Posted August 19, 2014 at 06:44 PM Posted August 19, 2014 at 06:44 PM (edited) Congrats JS... I said it before in private, but I'll say it here again where I'm sure others will agree; this was a job well done. Very well done. Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted August 19, 2014 at 08:22 PM Board of Governors Posted August 19, 2014 at 08:22 PM Justin, I feel privileged to have served on the Beta team, and recognized right away what a huge difference this makes for our controllers, particularly during busy events (no more recording ATISes while trying to actively work a dozen or more aircraft!!). You've done a fantastic job, and I, all of VATUSA, and I'm sure all of VATSIM, really appreciate it. Between vPilot and now vATIS, 2014 has been a great year for VATSIM! Lluis del Cerro 810821 Posted September 14, 2014 at 10:47 AM Posted September 14, 2014 at 10:47 AM Hi, My most sincere congratulations for this nice piece of software for us and for the time and effort invested. I would like to suggest to include in the help a PDF file with the manual as a complement to the web-based help. For those like me which spend too much time in public transport to move from home to the office and vice-versa, something as interesting as this to read will be much appreciated. If necessary, I can help with this. Best regards, Lluís Lluís del Cerro Senior Instructor http://www.catalonian-airlines.cat
Adam Young 1208826 Posted September 15, 2017 at 05:15 PM Posted September 15, 2017 at 05:15 PM How do I use the magnetic wind variation? I can't seem to find anything on it.
Bradley Grafelman Posted September 15, 2017 at 05:24 PM Posted September 15, 2017 at 05:24 PM How do I use the magnetic wind variation? I can't seem to find anything on it. Page 9 of the User Guide explains how it is used: Magnetic Variation: If specified, the wind readout in the ATIS broadcast will be modified to accommodate the magnetic variation. The only other bit of information to know would be to select "Subtract" if the variation is to the east or "Add" if it is to the west.
