Would it be possible for the Dep/Arr Section and NOTAM section to have a special function (or code such as $A-$Z) to read out the letter pronunciation?

Currently "TWY P AND S CLSD" would be read as "Taxiway P

and South closed". With this feature, "TWY $P AND $S CLSD" would be read as "Taxiway Papa and Sierra Closed".

Great Job so far, it works near perfectly and will definately be a time saver.

Thanks,

Josh

Such feature already exists.

http://radarcontact.me/ look specifically at the "Special Text Parsing" section.

Speaking of special text parsing...

There's a bug where frequencies like "123.575" (both in the freetext box and the "All departures contact ___ on ___" closing flag) are pronounced as "one two three point five seven five." Instead, it should be spoken as "one two three point five seven."

I'm betting that's not a bug ... rather a "lack of feature".

Agree with Ross' characterization, and agree with the request to have that spoken five removed at the end for freqs xxx.x2 and xxx.x7.

You say poh-TAY-toe, I say poh-TAH-toe.

(Similar to: "What's the only difference between a bug and a feature? One of them was intentional.")
