Joe Neil 918315 Posted December 22, 2004 at 01:55 AM Posted December 22, 2004 at 01:55 AM O.K.-I know what everyone will say (at least those rocket scientists who were able to connect), "READ THE PRC" Well, I wouldn't be asking for help if I UNDERSTOOD THE PRC!!! Can someone please make a flowchart for connecting on VATSIM and solve about 1,000 peoples' problems instead of addressing each problem individually? I am having trouble with the stupid ATC Tuner working, it says that file not found, but i've re-installed several times. What am I doing wrong here: 1. connect to sbrelay 2. open FS9 multiplayer 3. open SBHOST 4. open squawkbox 5. connect on the sbrelay drop down menu When do I open Advance Voice Client, Roger Wilco, and the ATC tuner?? Sorry for the whining, but I'm this close to just saying "screw this" Thanks in advance
Andreas Fuchs Posted December 22, 2004 at 12:17 PM Posted December 22, 2004 at 12:17 PM Hey Joe! Don't worry, many people had problems getting started. But it shouldn't make you give up Daniel Novet, a member of Swiss FIR (and a real life private pilot) made up a set of checklists for FS2002 and FS2004. Enjoy! The link to the checklist is essentially the Holy Grail for me, well not quite, but it has helped tremendously! Thanks again for your help, it is very much appreciated.
