Stephen Odgaard Posted September 7, 2014 at 09:14 PM Posted September 7, 2014 at 09:14 PM Hi, I did a flight tonight NZAA-NZQN. I downloaded the RNAV Y (05 & 23). In the lastest AIRAC from Navdata Pro it seems that all the approach points and procedures are missing. STARS are ok, but not after ATKIL and IBABU. Further I cant seem to locate the coordinates for all the points QN577 etc. Can anyone direct me? Thanks Stephen BR Stephen Slot Odgaard VATSCA C3 Member since 2004 P3D v 5: Jeehell A320, Skalarki... Mark Richards Posted September 8, 2014 at 08:30 AM Posted September 8, 2014 at 08:30 AM Hi Stephen This has been a problem for a while because of course the RNAV-Y is only for approved operators in the real world so the procedures in NavDataPro and Navigraph for simmers is not included. VATNZ have an airspace page at http://www.vatnz.net/airspace/airports/queenstown/ which links to the New Zealand AIP and from there you might be able to work out the coordinates for the waypoints but it's a very manual process I'm afraid. There are also some files floating around online that have the RNAV approaches and departures for some of the more common addons. I see from your signature that you're an X-Plane pilot and I'm sorry but I have no knowledge about what is available for X-Plane. Mark Hi Mark, Thanks, I am mainly a P3Dv2 pilot flying JeeHells FMGS A320-214. I browsed the AIP - where I found the procedures, but not the coordinates [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociated with the FIXes. Would you happen to have a link to where the coordinates are defined? The Navdata AIRAC being for simulation purposes, could the FIXes and procedures not be defined there ? Such a beautifull approach procedure. Flew it approximately to a 23 approach with ORBX new NZ south island. /Stephen BR Stephen Slot Odgaard VATSCA C3 Member since 2004 P3D v 5: Jeehell A320, Skalarki...
