Say "Goodbye" to Winter!

Date: Sunday, March 12, 2006

 

Time: 2000Z (3pm EST/2pm CST/1pm MST/Noon PST)

 

Featured Airports: Albuquerque, NM - Albuquerque's Sunport International Airport (ICAO: KABQ)

 

Albuquerque ARTCC will host its latest and greatest event, Say "Bye" to Winter.

 

Join us by flying into and out of Albuquerque's Sunport International.

KABQ will be staffed and ready for your flightstrip!

This event is the first event since ZAB's new Phase II Controller program!

Come out on Sunday, March 12th for an event that will blow your mind!

Event starts at 1pm MST (2000z)

 

These are the same skilled professionals that controlled last month at PHX's successfull TGIF event.

Experience some world cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] ATC from the comfort of your own computer!

I'd like to thank the whole VATSIM community for making our 'Say "Goodbye" to Winter' event such a great success! We had a amazing time yesterday (especially with those gusty winds, 27025G35, makes it quite fun to vector so close to the MVAs with 10k terrain right below), and I hope you all did too. Thanks for taking the time to head south for a few hours.

 

Be sure to look for more fun ZAB event coming in the near future.
