Michael Pike Posted September 26, 2014 at 09:31 PM Posted September 26, 2014 at 09:31 PM I'm using the released ES3.2 on Windows 8.1 so I'm not sure if this is a general problem or just on that platform. Say a route has required altitudes built in to it including the first waypoint but no REQUIREDALT line, for example $ROUTE:EXMOR/8000 ROTLU BAXUN/4000 ELROV/2500 ILS27 This works as expected but if I load the scenario file into the editor, it seems to strip off the first altitude and place it in the Required Alt box (but with no waypoint). If I then save the edited scenario, the file does not contain the value "8000" at all. If I then run that scenario, the plane might be cruising at 36000ft say at EXMOR and can't possibly make 4000 by BAXUN so it doesn't seem to descend at all. Same problem with departures. Pavel Brodsky Posted September 27, 2014 at 10:33 AM Posted September 27, 2014 at 10:33 AM Same problem with departures here. I set required 5000ft and save, restart ES, load scenario, and they all climb 7000 (however I dont have 7000 anywhere in their route).
