Ross Burke 1002996 Posted October 26, 2014 at 12:11 PM Posted October 26, 2014 at 12:11 PM Hi All, I seem to be running into some issues after deciding to re install WideFS. I have a few programs that are working correct and 'talking' to FSX. e.g. kAcars programs and Open Clouds. However vPilot is deciding to be particularly tricky. Even after running the traffic proxy programme I get the 'Simulator Connection Failed' error in the main vPilot programme. Did anyone else struggle with this? Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted October 26, 2014 at 04:12 PM Posted October 26, 2014 at 04:12 PM vpilot uses simconnect to connect to FSX, you dont need widefs for it. the only client that needs widefs to run networked is squawkbox and that was just with FS9. with FSX all the clients use simconnect
