Panagiotis Konstantinidis Posted November 8, 2014 at 11:44 AM Posted November 8, 2014 at 11:44 AM Kyprianos, the MSAW in euroscope are defined polygons with an [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned altitude. From Euroscope's Wiki: This subsection defines the areas and their minimum safe altitudes for the MSAW (Minimum Safe Altitude Warning) system. When an aircraft is within one of the areas and below its minimum safe altitude, a yellow text "MSAW" is displayed in its tag above the callsign. Source I guess, in airspaces with radar coverage where MVAs are defined, MVAs should get higher priority over MSA published in charts Panagiotis Konstantinidis ACCGR11, HvACC Deputy Director Airport Briefing | Air Traffic Overview | Euroscope Guide | Euroscope Sector Files

Panagiotis Konstantinidis Posted November 8, 2014 at 04:16 PM Posted November 8, 2014 at 04:16 PM Hehe, thanks Kyprianos Well, we may change the five radar vectored TMAs to MVAs instead in a future release, but MSAW is already taking about 1600 lines of code in the ese file. We have included all published MSA for the greek airports Panagiotis Konstantinidis ACCGR11, HvACC Deputy Director Airport Briefing | Air Traffic Overview | Euroscope Guide | Euroscope Sector Files
Raihan Shahzad 1208205 Posted January 31, 2015 at 10:41 AM Posted January 31, 2015 at 10:41 AM Hi, We have also implemented the MSAW feature for VATPAK sector, it is quite helpful for ATCO though code takes a lot time to script down.
