Kyprianos, the MSAW in euroscope are defined polygons with an [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned altitude. From Euroscope's Wiki:

This subsection defines the areas and their minimum safe altitudes for the MSAW (Minimum Safe Altitude Warning) system. When an aircraft is within one of the areas and below its minimum safe altitude, a yellow text "MSAW" is displayed in its tag above the callsign.

I guess, in airspaces with radar coverage where MVAs are defined, MVAs should get higher priority over MSA published in charts

Hehe, thanks Kyprianos

Well, we may change the five radar vectored TMAs to MVAs instead in a future release, but MSAW is already taking about 1600 lines of code in the ese file. We have included all published MSA for the greek airports

Hi,

We have also implemented the MSAW feature for VATPAK sector, it is quite helpful for ATCO though code takes a lot time to script down.
