vATIS update 1.1.12.20140 now available

Version 1.1.12.20140 of vATIS is now available for download from the web site, or via the automatic update utility built into the ATIS client.

 

The following items were added or fixed in this version:

 

- Fix issue preventing server list from populating (v1.1.11.36723 issue)
- Refined user interface
- Improve configuration profile parsing
- Move ATIS frequency/voice server from individual profile config to facility node in the XML configuration file
- Improve pronunciation of "wind"
- Add ability to clone and rename profile configurations
- Airport/runway database is now consolidated into one file (Airports.xml); Data derived from latest AIRAC cycle (1411)

It is recommended that you backup your configuration profiles in the unlikely event that the data does not convert properly during the upgrade.

 

After the upgrade, you will be required to provide your VATSIM credentials during connection because of the changes in the config parsing.

 

You will also need to reinput the voice server/ATIS frequency values. The voice server and ATIS frequency fields can be changed without needing to load a configuration profile - just open a facility and change them.
