HOT MIC on VATSIM with x-plane 10.31 BE200

I've got X-plane 10.31 and just joined Vatsim.

I have a "hot mic"

 

There does not appear to be any setting in X-Plane 10 that allows for

"Press to Talk" or anywhere in buttons [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment to make one

Press to talk. In fact, there is NOTHING in X-Plane 10 that allows

press to talk on VAT SIM.

 

I've tried the Kingair 200, Kingair 90 and Beech 58 Baron

but no luck.

 

Has anyone solved this problem and [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned a yoke or stick button for

a radio on X-Plane 10?

 

I'd really appreciate some help on this.

The push to talk key setting for XSquawkBox is under the Plugins menu: Plugins -> XSquawkBox -> Preferences

You can [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign a keyboard key as well as a button from a joystick or controller as your push to talk. Not sure why not setting it would give you a hot mic, unless you're accidentally hitting the key that it is currently set to.
