FSX Addon scenery disappearing once at destination- Help!

Hi there everyone,

I have recently bought a new PC (specs listed below) and have had a problem where if I were to fly from say YSSY(Sydney) to YMML(Melbourne) in a PMDG 737NGX or PMDG 777 or similar, I have invisible buildings and scenery missing on arrival. This seems to happen mainly with high quality aircraft and the scenery disappearing seems to be payware addon photoreal scenery such as Orbx.

I am unsure if this problem has occurred with anyone else and if there is a simple fix for it, or if I just need to turn my FSX settings down

Anyways any help is much appreciated!

PC Specs:

-Intel i7 4790k CPU @ 3.6GHz

-Nvidia GTX760

-2TB HDD

-Windows 7 64bit

Try running your fsx.cfg through this utility... http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html

could be an activation issue. maybe reinstall those addons. looks like what usually happens where there is an activation issue, it stays in kind of a demo mode where after X amount of time certain parts are disabled

Before one burns a product activation, test if it occurs with the default aircraft. If it doesn't, then it's not a problem with the addon.

My money is on running out of VRAM, especially if it only happens with complex aircraft and scenery.

Cheers!
