Virtual Cockpit editor

I downloaded this freeware aircraft and it works fine, except the gauges in the virtual cockpit don't show (they appear as black rectangles). I was wondering if there is an easy way to fix this. Is there a virtual cockpit editor or some tutorial on how to edit the VC?

 

I should add: I am using FSX, and the gauges in the 2D cockpit work perfectly fine.
