Chris Dobison 810929 Posted March 18, 2006 at 08:14 AM Posted March 18, 2006 at 08:14 AM Since VRC generates it's own ip.txt file, how can you connect to the SweatBox server? I've heard it is possible for those of us Beta testing. Chris Chris Dobison Vatsim Network Supervisor
Christopher Serio 823884 Posted March 18, 2006 at 02:37 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 02:37 PM You'll want to make a file called "myservers.txt" in the VRC directory and add the following line to it. sweatbox.vatsim.net SWEATBOX And then restart VRC. SWEATBOX should then appear in your server list. Be sure to advise your students to do the same thing. Ross Carlson Posted March 18, 2006 at 10:35 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 10:35 PM Hrm ... maybe the sweatbox server only has SOME of the VRC beta tester CIDs in the allowed list. I'll ask him about it if I don't see a response from CZ or LK here soon.
