Justice Jaentsch 1284160 Posted January 10, 2015 at 04:34 AM Posted January 10, 2015 at 04:34 AM (edited) I'm having trouble with my V-Pilot. It has worked before but now it doesn't. Every time I load into the airport, V-Pilot tells me it could not find the model "type of aircraft". It might not actually be installed in your simulator. I've done every thing correct from moving the file to simobjects, to editing the fsx.cfg file. someone help. Bradley Grafelman Posted January 10, 2015 at 05:21 AM Posted January 10, 2015 at 05:21 AM Do you have an example of some of the model names given in the error messages? Have you verified that the folders you think contain those models have a "title=" line in the aircraft.cfg file that exactly matches those models from the error messages? Justice Jaentsch 1284160 Posted January 10, 2015 at 06:52 AM Author Posted January 10, 2015 at 06:52 AM When I start V-Pilot, it gives me a message like this "SimConnect Error: Failed to create aircraft SIA908 using model "B77WSIA". This usually means that the model is not actually installed in your simulator. The aircraft will be created with a different model." It keeps going with all these aircraft people have: SimConnect Error: Failed to create aircraft AAL1143 using model "B732ZZZ3". This usually means that the model is not actually installed in your simulator. The aircraft will be created with a different model.

Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted January 10, 2015 at 02:07 PM Board of Governors Posted January 10, 2015 at 02:07 PM Have you verified that the model matching rules you have installed actually correlate with AI you have installed? Did you try the guidance in either the vPilot Tips, Tricks and Troubleshooting Guide and/or the vPilot docomeentation for Model Matching? Please either type or include a screen shot of your downloaded/installed model matching rulesets, AND copy/paste the AI you have installed from your fsx.cfg file, SimObjectPaths section.
