I am a realism freak that's why I want to join a VA but the problem is to my opinion most VA's give pilots very quickly a big aircraft (which I'm not capable of flying yet) and upgrade their rank by timeframe. Maybe all my needs cant be satisfied but a push in the right direction is verry apreciated. What I am looking for is: Training, from the real basics up to advanced stuff Offering small planes as well, I enjoy smaller trips probably more than the jumboplane ones More realism in typeratings than flown hours Maybe I'm asking for too much but I hope something will float my boat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

VA list can be found at: http://vasops.vatsim.net/ see if you find one that fits your needs. there are very uber realistic VA's out there. used to be in one that required check rides, flight bids, dispatch service provided by a real dispatcher, etc.. but they closed several years ago. which is probably why you might not find too many of them, while the realism is great, VA's that arent too flexible tend to limit themselves to a certain type of user which makes recruiting more difficult. in turn the VA's become harder to maintain and keep in operation. some find it hard to get the balance between realism and not being overly strict Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Our training center (Virtual Blue University) is currently under construction but will be up and running again soon. Even though jetBlue only flies E190's and A320's, we have a variety of aircraft to fly ranging from small to large seeing that you can choose from several codeshares. As far as realism goes, you can tell how realistic we are by simply checking out our website. We take flight simulation seriously, however, still know how to have fun. As a Category I (new hire) pilot you are limited to only the E190 and A320. You can check out the other categories within the pilot handbook which is located on our website. Cam B. I have chosen to follow the course at vatsim-uk since there aren't that many ATO's who can do P3 (which I really want), I am currently active at fs economy and the community there is awesome you can make it as real as you want there by restricting yourself to VFR and VATSIM.
