sebastian jackson 1274940 Posted January 28, 2015 at 01:30 AM Posted January 28, 2015 at 01:30 AM Hello my good friends of vatsim, me and my buddy have started flying dual flights with smart copilot. Highly recommend it to anybody who isnt boring! I love vatsim to the death through thick and thin, this has to happen right now! How would we go about logging in for a dual flight and not confusing atc, also I imagine even something as simple as choosing the same callsign may throw a spanner in the works early on. If anybody can give me some advice, it would be greatly appreciated! Muchos gracias in advance, I shall return to check for any answers over the next coming days. Ps, if you dont answer, I will be come one of those rogue pilots edited for CoC - kwr 810181(Nah, never could do that) Peace guys
Mathew Sutcliffe Posted January 28, 2015 at 02:09 PM Posted January 28, 2015 at 02:09 PM I agree this would be great. To support both pilots connecting to VATSIM without confusing controllers and other pilots, a pilot client needs to support something called stealth mode, which XSB doesn't. At the moment, all you could do would be for only one of you to be logged into VATSIM, so the other one wouldn't see traffic. The other one could still be on frequency by connecting to the voice room through an external app. swift - Developer
sebastian jackson 1274940 Posted January 29, 2015 at 11:11 PM Author Posted January 29, 2015 at 11:11 PM Senor Sutcliffe, thank you very much for your reply. This is good news as well as bad, but mainly good. I think that this is doable, the PNF will have to handle the traffic as well as the majority of atc contact so if anything it still helps to equal the workload. I anticipate good things all in time. Thanks again and enjoy your weekend amigo.
