Dustin Robbins 887494 Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:11 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:11 PM I have recently had trouble with aircraft not climbing and/or descending. I'm not sure what triggered this but everytime I run it at least one or more aircraft don't climb/descend. I haven't done a reinstall yet. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. Christopher Serio 823884 Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:41 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:41 PM Ah this is a "quirk" with the way I simulate takeoffs. I use a fraction of the climb/descent rate as a fudge factor for determining when an aircraft is moving fast enough to "takeoff". So for an aircraft that climbs/descends at 1800fpm, i may way until say 130kts before i let them begin to climb. If you set the climb/descent rate too high for a small aircraft, the ACSim will never let them climb because they'll never be able to go fast enough. Try lowering the climb/descent rate.
