Kevin Noe 895858 Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:54 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 09:54 PM on the VRC website there is a picture of the display but at the bottom you can notice type in commands for the aircraft. Is this a new version of sweatbox or just something someone else has done? I would love to see some feature like that on sweatbox because most of the time on ZAU's harder APP scenarios its really hard to keep up with the talking. Ross Carlson Posted March 18, 2006 at 10:33 PM Posted March 18, 2006 at 10:33 PM That's from a program I've written called TWRTrainer, which is not yet available. It's similar to ACSim, but intended for DEL/GND/TWR training. You can have aircraft taxi around the field, line up for take off, take off, fly patterns, land, fly the ILS, depart the area, etc. All commands are done on a special text frequency. I will have TWRTrainer available after VRC is released. (I still have some work to do on TWRTrainer, and that's not going to happen until I get VRC done. ) Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
