SSO using deviceID?

I use many different devices to access the forum, and although I sign in and say "keep me logged in", invariably, I have to login again and again when I switch devices which is fine if that is by design.

 

Does the SSO use deviceID as part of the interrogation process and is this expected behavior? Mind you I have no problem if it is, just want to set my own expectations Or I want to see what I'm doing wrong...

Are you asking about the forums or SSO? Sounds like you're saying you have the problem on the forums to me....

There isn't such a thing as a device ID that SSO would have access to.

 

There is sessiondata/cookies that SSO would use to authenticate your browser but that isn't transferable from device to device.
