Jim Johnson 970018 Posted February 23, 2015 at 04:58 PM Posted February 23, 2015 at 04:58 PM Using a ASE senario file on sweatbox and the ES 3.1 programe I can take off or land Using the ILS for runway 27 with no problem. With 3.2 and the same ASE file, aircraft always head 274 degs on takeoff and on a ILS approach for 27 the aircraft aways tracks 274 degs and consequently lands off the runway. [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance in correcting this apparent error would be appreciated.
Gergely Csernak Posted February 28, 2015 at 09:38 AM Posted February 28, 2015 at 09:38 AM It sounds some to be a magnetic/true north problem. In 3.2 the RWY angle is compiled as true north. So just adjust them. Gergely. EuroScope developer
Jim Johnson 970018 Posted February 28, 2015 at 11:23 AM Author Posted February 28, 2015 at 11:23 AM Thanks for reply Gergely, I did try the mag/true north but still had the problem. I have used different ILS coordinates on the ASE and all is now working well. Very impressed with new sweatbox.
