Tony Swan 1320189 Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:10 AM Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:10 AM When I connected to VATSIM, I get these errors: SimConnect Error: Failed to create aircraft UAL6484 using model "WoA_AIG_B757-300W_UAL-United Airlines 2010". This usually means that the model is not actually installed in your simulator. The aircraft will be created with a different model. I understand that it has to do with Model Matching but I am just wondering how to fix it? Also, are these pay planes or what?
Ross Carlson Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:31 AM Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:31 AM Just like the error says, you have a model matching rule loaded that refers to an AI aircraft model that you don't actually have installed. Do you have that World of AI model installed? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Tony Swan 1320189 Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:42 AM Author Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:42 AM No I do not. Should I install all the model matching?
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:48 AM Board of Governors Posted March 29, 2015 at 02:48 AM God, no! As all the docomeentation states, only install the rulesets for models you actually have installed. There is a great complementary program called vmrgenerator that will create a custom rule set that only uses aircraft you have installed.
