Sorry to post this here, however there appears no way to contact anyone at AvA...

1. Can't join the forum - - activation email never arrives.

Edit: VAVS has been resolved, still can't log into the forums, but that's ok. Thanks for the help Tim and Craig (via email).

What's their website? AVA doesn't mean a lot, the A could stand for American Airlines (of which there are at least 3), Alitalia, Asiana, Adria, Antonov, Ansett, Aeroméxico, Aeroflot etc)

He's referring to joinava.org. They seem to have had a fair bit of technological entropy over the past few years.

Cheers!

1) Don't know

2) I was able to apply for VAFS, did you try emailing any of the staff members or your hub manager?

3) Yup. Two group flights every week, active staff...don't know why you are having issues

Silly question, but where are the email addresses? I looked on the staff page but there didn't seem to be any obvious way to contact anyone.

Cheers!

There is an email address on their website which can be found at the very end. You may try to contact that VA Manager:

http://joinava.org/index.php?id=93

2. How do I get VAFS? The application apparently is useless.

Not sure if this explanation on their forum will help you:

As JoinAVA and VAFS are proving awkward, perhaps consider a different virtual airline? You're spoilt for choice with VirtualAmerican, AAvirtual, AALv and AAvirtual! I wouldn't want to join a VA that seems unable to get the basics right, especially given the number of alternatives.
