Clarke Kruger Posted May 23, 2015 at 03:51 PM Posted May 23, 2015 at 03:51 PM After many years running FSINN I decided it was time for a change, Installing VPilot was easy as pie and is a clean, easy interface. Nicely done gentlemen. 2 questions that came up while using Vpilot. I run over a network but unlike others have my headset hooked to my client PC not the server so FSX audio runs off the FSX PC, the only thing I enjoyed with FSINN is I could configure alerts to run through the FSX PC while still having my headset on the client. So if I ever had a SELCAL call I could hear it through the main sound. Any plans on this? Also, the one feature I loved in FSINN was the ability to change AI aircraft for those that had troubles inputting the correct ICAO code. I see by using the .debug string A list comes up, would it be possible in the future to have and option to at least edit this, for the odd (daily almost) time when the incorrect code is filed. so if they're flying an Airbus A321 but simply put C as a aircraft I could manually change it? Hope you get that. But all in all a very slick interface. Cheers Clarke Kruger Edmonton (CYEG) AB, Canada VATSIM Network Supervisor | Team 1 Have a question? Ross Carlson Posted May 23, 2015 at 05:08 PM Posted May 23, 2015 at 05:08 PM Thanks for the feedback. No plans to have notification sounds come through the FSX PC. Also no plans to allow manual override of an invalid aircraft code. I see that as a workaround that doesn't address the actual problem, which is pilots that configure their client incorrectly.
