Hi there recently I have a problem which makes vpilot useless with atc. It all started once in budapest.Twr online, tunned the freq, I could hear them for a while and then suddenly, I heard the sound of atc disconnecting while I hadn't changed anything! Of course atc was online and I couldn't contact him, using freq or text, just by pm. I tried:

1. Restarting vpilot, choosing another server.

2. Allowing it through firewall

3. Re-installing

4. Pluging off the cable of my internet modem and re-pluging it.

5. Re-[Mod - Happy Thoughts]igning ppt button

....but still nothing!

Any help REALLY appreciated

What does the debug window (e.g. type ".debug") show? Does it discover the voice channel information and attempt to connect? Does it note any errors?

Is your UDP port forwarded ([Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming you're using a router)? Did you try any other frequencies?

Apologies but I don't know what UDP port is, and yes, I have tried some other frequencies. A supervisor told me "I can see you are tunned to the freq, but not visible on the voice server", if that helps!

Yes, it does help. Suggest you follow the blocked connection troubleshooting in the guide. Sounds like you'll need to Google Forward UDP port for your router.

Well Don, I just did a vfr flight over new york with atc and I had no problems. Is it maybe a problem of my level-d 767?

Ah, good point. That aircraft has been mentioned several times over the last couple of years -- you have to ensure you are getting power to the avionics. Many folks have inadvertently not powered the avionics and lost comms.
