1300702 Posted May 29, 2015 at 01:58 PM Posted May 29, 2015 at 01:58 PM Hi there recently I have a problem which makes vpilot useless with atc. It all started once in budapest.Twr online, tunned the freq, I could hear them for a while and then suddenly, I heard the sound of atc disconnecting while I hadn't changed anything! Of course atc was online and I couldn't contact him, using freq or text, just by pm. I tried: 1. Restarting vpilot, choosing another server. 2. Allowing it through firewall 3. Re-installing 4. Pluging off the cable of my internet modem and re-pluging it. 5. Re-[Mod - Happy Thoughts]igning ppt button ....but still nothing! Any help REALLY appreciated
Bradley Grafelman Posted May 29, 2015 at 04:31 PM Posted May 29, 2015 at 04:31 PM What does the debug window (e.g. type ".debug") show? Does it discover the voice channel information and attempt to connect? Does it note any errors?

Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted May 30, 2015 at 05:05 PM Board of Governors Posted May 30, 2015 at 05:05 PM Is your UDP port forwarded ([Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming you're using a router)? Did you try any other frequencies? Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
1300702 Posted May 31, 2015 at 11:15 AM Author Posted May 31, 2015 at 11:15 AM Apologies but I don't know what UDP port is, and yes, I have tried some other frequencies. A supervisor told me "I can see you are tunned to the freq, but not visible on the voice server", if that helps!
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted May 31, 2015 at 11:54 AM Board of Governors Posted May 31, 2015 at 11:54 AM Yes, it does help. Suggest you follow the blocked connection troubleshooting in the guide. Sounds like you'll need to Google Forward UDP port for your router. 1300702 Posted May 31, 2015 at 12:12 PM Author Posted May 31, 2015 at 12:12 PM Well Don, I just did a vfr flight over new york with atc and I had no problems. Is it maybe a problem of my level-d 767?
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted May 31, 2015 at 04:34 PM Board of Governors Posted May 31, 2015 at 04:34 PM Ah, good point. That aircraft has been mentioned several times over the last couple of years -- you have to ensure you are getting power to the avionics. Many folks have inadvertently not powered the avionics and lost comms. Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
