Adam Walker Posted March 25, 2006 at 05:40 PM Posted March 25, 2006 at 05:40 PM Hi, im currently using FS navigator. Its fine when im using a flightplan that it has decided on, but when the ATC change it, then i have problems. is there a way to search for a waypoint? Just i cant always seem to find them by simply looking around on the charts. Someitmes it appears some are missing from them. Adam Walker
Paul Byrne Posted March 26, 2006 at 05:27 AM Posted March 26, 2006 at 05:27 AM Hi Adam, The "list" of actual waypoints around the world changes every now and again. This list of waypoints is called an AIRAC cycle and this get updated every month. Yuo need to go to http://www.navdata.at . This is the Navdata website where the very generous Richard Stefan updates the AIRAC cycles for a lot of add on products(FSNav included). He provides this service free. Once you download the correct installer for FSNav, just double click and it will install for you. Don't forget to run the FSNav database creator afterwards, so the update is impemented. This should fix your problem with waypoints. As for searching, there is a search function in FSNav. When you have FSNav maximized on your screen, you should see it in the top left corner. Hope this helps. Cheers! Paul.
