Robert Bressert Posted June 9, 2015 at 06:07 PM Posted June 9, 2015 at 06:07 PM Does anyone know the status of this software? Is Ernie Alston still developing this? It looks like the posts at its forums are going unanswered and ISG1 hasn't been undated in a long time.
Andreas Fuchs Posted June 9, 2015 at 08:31 PM Posted June 9, 2015 at 08:31 PM Ernie should still be developing it, as far as I know. He is probably getting drowned by real world work - FsBuild and ISGSIM are "just a hobby". Sean Harrison Posted June 9, 2015 at 09:38 PM Posted June 9, 2015 at 09:38 PM An excellent product the way it stands today, not sure how much more development is needed or intended. It is a one man show, so Mr Alston often takes time to respond to everything, especially if it may have previously been answered. Have you got a question about something specific? Maybe someone here can help! Sean C1/O P3
Robert Bressert Posted June 10, 2015 at 01:55 PM Author Posted June 10, 2015 at 01:55 PM It is a great product! No doubt about that. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it. I understand that Ernie is a busy man and I have no problem waiting for answers about questions. If he has stopped developing the product that's fine too! I was just wondering. I have no specific questions myself, except if there were any plans for improving vnav, but I noticed that several at the forum had questions about minor bugs and since he no longer seems to be responding to those questions it got me wondering if this was an abandoned project.
