Michael Filyaw 952667 Posted March 28, 2006 at 09:23 PM Posted March 28, 2006 at 09:23 PM Hello, I was wondering is it okay to fly Fictional airliners (like Boeing 999-1000) on-line?
Mark Zameda 810257 Posted March 28, 2006 at 10:07 PM Posted March 28, 2006 at 10:07 PM Several questions come to mind if and when you do this: 1) How will ATC know what type of airliner it is? (i.e. 2 or 8 engine, jet or prop, heavy or light, what cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] it is) 2) Are there any special separation requirements for the fictional aircraft? (i.e. 6NM behind heavy, or 10NM behind the 999-1000?) 3) Cruise speed 4) Cruise and service ceiling altitude You'd probably have to answer all these questions when you came online, or put them in your remarks. Norm Hare 907837 Posted March 29, 2006 at 12:10 PM Posted March 29, 2006 at 12:10 PM I think I read somewhere that the 999 was designated an "LH" Ludicrous Heavy (ok all you Spaceballs fans)
