Johan Grauers Posted August 18, 2015 at 02:02 PM Posted August 18, 2015 at 02:02 PM I feel old now, but since the new euroscope version I can't figure out how to run a local simulator session instead of loading up via sweatbox. I've started the FSD server. Now when I've connected to FSX in the past I always used localhost, so I've tried connecting to localhost with euroscope but then two things happen. If I leave the "connect to vatsim" box clicked, it connects to the network. How can it do that when the server is "localhost"? I don't understand. If I untick "connect to vatsim" it gives an error "Vatsim server found while non-vatsim server was requested" and then it disconnects itself again. So, is there an idiots guide for people like me? I understand the reasoning behind moving out the FSD server but at the moment I really miss the "run local simulator" option in the connection tab. Michael Pike Posted August 18, 2015 at 10:23 PM Posted August 18, 2015 at 10:23 PM You select "Start sweatbox simulator session" as the connection method. You type "localhost" in the server box and untick "connect to VATSIM" Mike Pike VATSIM-UK
