Ned Hamilton 1215492 Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:23 PM Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:23 PM Just when I thought things were working well, I moved my WOA models to a subfolder and now vPilot complains that it can't find the models. My models were working fine when they were folders in SimObjects\Airplanes. But when I moved all the WOA folders to a Subfolder within SimObjects\Airplanes. vPilot gave a bunch of "red" warnings. I had run VMRGenerator after moving the models. I don't see anywhere that there is a place to tell vPilot to look in subfolders. Am I missing something? Ned Hamilton 1215492 Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:37 PM Author Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:37 PM I discovered my problem so thought I'd post here for others. If you move model sets out of their normal location (SimObjects\Airplanes) you have to add a new line to FSX.cfg file to tell where they are like this: SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\Airplanes\AI Everything working fine now. Model matching is very nice. Ned
Bradley Grafelman Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:38 PM Posted August 19, 2015 at 03:38 PM Yet again I type too slowly... Glad to hear you resolved the issue, but just to clarify in case others come upon this thread seeking guidance... vPilot doesn't care where your models are located, nor are the error messages telling you that vPilot can't find the models. The SimConnect error messages are actually relaying an error condition that your flight simulator is generating.
