Joao Saloio 1250805 Posted August 23, 2015 at 11:34 AM Posted August 23, 2015 at 11:34 AM Hello, My name is João Saloio and I'm having lots of FSX crashes, because of vPilot. Somebody knows what to do? I tried to reinstall it and now I can't send my flightplan, because it causes an error, and the error seems be because of the zulu time. Hope you can help me. Best Regards, João Saloio
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted August 23, 2015 at 11:39 AM Board of Governors Posted August 23, 2015 at 11:39 AM The thread right before this one that you posted is active on this topic. viewtopic.php?f=132&t=69239 It appears to be a Windows, .NET, and/or AVG problem. Please advise what version of Windows you are using, what version(s) of .NET you are using, and if you use AVG antivirus. Ross Carlson Posted August 23, 2015 at 02:46 PM Posted August 23, 2015 at 02:46 PM Why do you say your FSX crashes are because of vPilot? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Joao Saloio 1250805 Posted August 23, 2015 at 06:31 PM Author Posted August 23, 2015 at 06:31 PM Because it shows an error of vPilot and then crashes,at all time. Anyway I've desinstalled AVG antivirus and it's done! No crashes at the moment Thanks for your help!
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted August 23, 2015 at 06:52 PM Board of Governors Posted August 23, 2015 at 06:52 PM To clarify, It is not an error with vPilot. vPilot is reporting an error on your system. In actuality, as you're learning, there is a problem between AVG and Windows (.NET). vPilot reports the error and then FSX crashes. vPilot does its job by reporting the issue. Hope this helps. Ross Carlson Posted August 23, 2015 at 08:32 PM Posted August 23, 2015 at 08:32 PM The AVG issue shouldn't cause an FSX crash. I wonder if AVG is causing an FSX crash and then vPilot crashes as a result. Joao Saloio 1250805 Posted September 6, 2015 at 11:02 AM Author Posted September 6, 2015 at 11:02 AM Hello, The error is back, is it because of .NET Framework? I thought it was because of AVG, because when I uninstalled it, FSX stop crashing, but now it is back. If the problem is with .NET,how can I solve it?
