ATCA unavailable due to subdomain removal

ATCA is no longer able to provide METAR information and regional pressure settings in the UK as the sub-domain it referenced is no longer available:

 

http://usa-s1.vatsim.net/data/metar.php

 

Can someone re-activate this and work with the ATCA developers to co-ordinate the removal of this once ATCA is updated to the main VATSIM feed so that controllers have the full range of available tools available.

Those domain were never meant to be used by clients, and some of them never existed apparently. It is up to ATCA's developpers to fix it or not, have you tried contacting them? I'd try to fix the problem with them first before asking for time from the VATSIM webmasters

 

Also, are you sure there is not a setting where you can change that URL? The correct metar.php url should be:

http://metar.vatsim.net/metar.php

Yes I've contacted them and suggested making it a setting end users can change. I've not had a reply as yet hence the request here as to whether or not it could be done as a temporary measure
